MULTIEXPERIENCIA

The Templar presence in Culla was brief, barely a decade (1303-1314), but it left its mark. As representatives of the Church, the Templars were recipients of taxes, mostly in kind, such as the grain collected through the tithe or "delme" and the "primicia". In this building, the Templar Commander stored this grain, which was later redistributed or traded. Years later, the same building was converted into a prison, still preserving part of its original medieval structure.
