MULTIEXPERIENCIA

Gaudí's Capricho, built in 1883 as a summer residence for Máximo Díaz de Quijano, stands out for its singularity and originality. Designed by Antoni Gaudí and directed by Cascante Colom, it combines a semi-basement, main floor and attic, crowned by a slender lookout tower that breaks with the horizontality of the whole. On a solid stone plinth, its facades are decorated with brick and ceramic strips with sunflowers. Columns with palm leaves and swallows support the porch. Undulating railings and musical windows complete this jewel of Catalan modernism.
