Council Hall (Town Hall), Cantavieja. This is a large medieval hall from the 14th century in which the local institutions met to discuss decisions regarding the organization, justice and market. In the Council Hall, the fundamental role played by this institution in the life of the municipality is explained in detail: community decision-making, allocation of resources, control of order and, in times of conflict, coordination of local militias. As a testimony of that time, the municipal archive preserves unique pieces such as the stature meter and the drum of destiny of the quintos, symbols of the compulsory service to which the local youths were subjected.
