Bulnes, a village in the council of Cabrales in the heart of the Picos de Europa National Park, preserves its rural essence intact. Its traditional stone architecture and cobbled streets blend with an idyllic mountain setting, dominated by the emblematic Pico Urriellu. At 650 meters above sea level, it can be reached on foot or by funicular from Poncebos. Its life revolves around ancestral customs, such as the production of Cabrales cheese, and is the starting point of many hiking trails, being a cultural and natural treasure of Asturias.
