Historical Complex · Anento
MULTIEXPERIENCIA
Anento was part of the 106 places of the Community of Daroca until its dissolution in 1834. It was first mentioned in 1357, when it was burned by Castilian troops without managing to conquer its castle. It still preserves its wall with twin towers. The Romanesque church of San Blas (13th century) stands out for its Gothic altarpieces and 14th century frescoes. The village has a medieval layout with sloping streets and pointed doorways. The main altarpiece was the work of Blasco de Grañén. Anento has a valuable historical, artistic and urban legacy.
