The Ecomuseum of the Pyrenean Fauna is a museum of nature and environmental education located in the Castle of Ainsa, in Ainsa (Huesca, Aragon), exactly in the area of the historic center and the Plaza del Castillo. Its location in the keep or in outbuildings of the fortified enclosure links it directly with the monumental complex of the medieval town. The Mirador del Cinca is an elevated viewpoint located in Aínsa, in the Sobrarbe region (Huesca, Aragon), designed to offer a bird’s-eye view of the wide Cinca River valley and the surrounding Pyrenean landscape. Physically, it is a natural balcony overlooking the confluence of the Ara and Cinca rivers, with the Mediano Reservoir visible at the base of the valley. From the viewpoint, visitors can enjoy unobstructed views of the Cinca Valley, the Peña Montañesa, the medieval old town of Aínsa at the foot of the viewpoint, and the peaks of the Aragonese Pyrenees silhouetted against the horizon. Its appeal is not merely scenic: it forms part of a network of hiking trails linked to the Sobrarbe-Pyrenees Geopark, in an area of high natural and cultural value. The viewpoint is listed in local guidebooks and tourist brochures as a site associated with the town of Aínsa, accessible on foot via a marked trail. The best time to visit is in spring and fall, when temperatures are moderate and shade is more abundant; in summer, it can be intensely hot and there is little vegetation cover.
