Filii Christi Museum · Agulo

Between 1913 and 1936, Agulo was home to the Filiichristi, a unique Christian and theosophical congregation composed of local intellectuals. They held secret meetings in the lonja of a family home, sang Gregorian chants and followed strict rules of life: long hair, habit, abstinence from meat, alcohol and passions. Although some saw them as a sect, their purpose was noble: to make the population literate. Their mystical and cultural imprint is still alive in the memory of the people.
