09:30 h - Eucharist and blessing of branches in the Chapel of the Sacred Heart. 10:30 h - Blessing of branches in Santa María Magdalena and procession of the Entrance of Jesus in Jerusalem (La Burriquita). 11:00 h - Procession to Santa María del Castillo and celebration of the Holy Mass. On Palm Sunday morning, the procession of La Burriquita departs. The image departs from the church of Santa María Magdalena, going through some streets of Olivenza, to the church of Santa María del Castillo where the mass is celebrated and then returns to the Magdalena. The Nazarenes are dressed in white and blue vestments and the children who have not yet received communion are dressed as Hebrews. They carry olive branches and palms.
