Twelve grapes to the chimes to see the year out in the village square.

- 31 December, at midnight
- Where
- Villages across Spain
In Spain the year is seen out by eating twelve grapes, one for each chime at midnight, to bring luck in the new year.
Many villages gather in the square, in front of the town hall or church clock, to eat the grapes together and then toast with music and dancing.
