City Hall
The Town Hall is located in the Plaza Mayor inLinares de Mora; it is one of the buildings that make up the town’s traditional architectural complex.
The building features a three-story façade that blends into the cluster of houses surrounding the plaza. Of particular note is its ashlar stone entrance, formed by an elegant semicircular arch, above which sits a stately balcony with distinctive 19th-century cast-iron railings.
The upper part of the façade is complemented by elongated windows and balconies, while the structure is topped by a large, undecorated wooden eave—a highly characteristic element of the area’s traditional architecture.
Its location in the Plaza Mayor and its architecture—combining stone, wood, and iron—make the Town Hall a building that blends seamlessly into the traditional image of Linares de Mora, contributing to the historic and mountainous character of this urban setting.
A unique architectural detail is that the rear section consists of only one story, due to the significant elevation difference on which the town is situated, thus adapting to the distinctive topography of Linares de Mora.
