As is tradition, on the second weekend of September, Morella celebrated its agricultural and livestock Fair, which has nearly eight centuries of history. Thus, more than 100 exhibitors, including traders of primary sector products and sheep, cattle, and horses, have filled the Alameda promenade once again. This has also attracted a large influx of visitors drawn by the typical products of Els Ports and the neighboring regions, as the town's parking lots were full throughout both days.

The Associació Firal Els Ports and the City Council of Morella have made a very positive assessment of the weekend, both for the number of exhibitors and the participation in the various scheduled activities. The Councilor for Rural Development, Ana Belén Soro, highlighted that "the bullfighting events occupied the afternoons of the weekend with cows and the 'toro embolado' on Saturday and the novillada on Sunday" and added that "the sheepdog competition, the showcooking, and the children's activities with ponies, among others, also had great participation." The councilor took the opportunity to "thank the fair association for its dedication in organizing the Fair of Morella, Croquellanas for their involvement in different events for their 25th anniversary, and the exhibitors and visitors who came to participate in this historic fair."

The mayor of Morella, Bernabé Sangüesa, explained that "we saw many people waiting for the transhumant entry of livestock in Sant Miquel, one of the first events of the Fair that shows how work was done with animals, as well as the sheepdog competition on Sunday." Finally, he commented that "the fair took place without any notable incidents, except for one of the new lampposts that had been installed on the aqueduct promenade between the aerial sections of Santa Llúcia and La Pedrera being torn out."

Jaume I granted the fair to the city of Morella in 1257, although new data places it as early as 1239, meaning it is close to reaching eight centuries of history. This is a livestock fair, where two traditions that gave fame to the medieval town are combined: trade and livestock farming. The city's commercial tradition is combined with the exhibition of select livestock, as well as tools, facilities, and machinery for working in the sector. Currently, it is also a commercial and gastronomic exhibition that takes advantage of the Espai Firal and the Alameda to showcase all the possibilities of this area.
