Linares de Mora has taken a strategic step toward the preservation and promotion of its Christmas traditions by officially joining the newly formed Asociación de Belenistas de Teruel. The main goal of this alliance is to enhance the village's handcrafted nativity scene, recognizing the great artisanal effort and the cultural roots that this display represents for its residents.
With this addition, Linares de Mora becomes part of an outstanding provincial network alongside other Teruel villages with a long tradition in the field, such as Teruel capital, Alcorisa, Mas de las Matas, la Mata de los Olmos, Orihuela del Tremedal, Alobras, Gea and Torres de Albarracín. The association's main purpose is to consolidate a route of unique nativity scenes across the province, promoting a tourist and cultural itinerary that will attract visitors throughout the entire Christmas season.
As a symbol of this union and shared identity, this year Linares de Mora's nativity scene will include, alongside the rest of the association's nativity scenes, a unique and exclusive figure: a shepherd designed through 3D printing and dressed in traditional Aragonese attire. This joint initiative seeks to protect the art of Teruel nativity-making and give the visibility it deserves to these handcrafted treasures of rural life.
