The Linares Tourism Office has taken a key strategic step to strengthen its position on the national tourism map. By formally joining the SICTED quality program, the municipality aims not only to optimize the service and information provided to visitors but also to establish a consistent standard of quality in collaboration with the local business community.
The implementation of this work methodology involves adopting best-practice manuals, ongoing training plans for technical staff, and rigorous evaluation systems. All of this is aimed at offering a comprehensive, sustainable, and highly professional tourism experience from the very first point of contact with the traveler.
Through this initiative, the City Council’s Tourism Department is leading a collective effort to encourage hotels, restaurants, local businesses, and service providers to progressively work toward obtaining the “Commitment to Tourism Quality” certification. With this initiative, Linares strengthens its competitiveness in the market and ensures constant improvement in the infrastructure and services that bring its rich historical, industrial, and cultural heritage to life.
