El Rincón del Vino Showcases Wines from Villanueva de los Infantes During the Pepper Fair

As part of the Pepper Fair held in Villanueva de los Infantes on the first weekend of September, the Casa de Rueda hosted “El Rincón del Vino,” an initiative organized by the City Council with the goal of promoting and raising awareness of the wines produced in the town.

Four wineries from Villanueva de los Infantes participated in the event: Bodega Tierras Rojas, Cooperativa Ntra. Sra. de la Antigua, Bodega Dos de Infantes, and Vinos David Auñón. These were joined by sparkling wines from the Portuguese municipality of Anadia, further reinforcing the initiative’s spirit of connection and twinning.

Throughout the event, attendees were able to taste different varieties of wine, accompanied by some of the most representative dishes of La Mancha cuisine, such as pisto manchego, asadillo, and lomo de orza.

As a memento of this event, participants were also able to take home a commemorative glass from El Rincón del Vino.
