Nuevo Baztán is hosting another edition of “La Noche Romántica” in the Historic District

On June 20, Nuevo Baztán will once again join in the celebration of La Noche Romántica, an initiative promoted by the association “Los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España” (Spain’s Most Beautiful Towns), which each year transforms some of the country’s most special places into settings for unique experiences for residents and visitors alike. For this year’s event, the Nuevo Baztán City Council has prepared a special program titled “Enchanted Romantic Night,” an event designed to be enjoyed with family, friends, or a partner in the incomparable setting of the gardens at Plaza de la Iglesia, across from the Juan de Goyeneche Palace. In addition, the event will coincide with a special edition of the traditional Palacio Market, which on this occasion will be open in the afternoon and evening, extending its hours until 1:00 a.m. to offer a unique experience under the starlight. The program will begin at 7:00 p.m. with the opening of the romantic space, where attendees can enjoy a themed photo op and participate in one of the day’s most symbolic activities: the Wishing Tree. Each participant can write a wish on a heart and hang it on this magical tree. At the end of the night, the wishes will be burned in a special ceremony so that, symbolically, they may set off on their journey to the heavens. At 8:00 p.m., one of the evening’s most entertaining moments will take place with a lively Musical Bingo, where love songs will take center stage alongside prizes and surprises for participants. At the same time, a Floral Accessories Workshop will take place, where children and adults can create crowns, bracelets, and headbands with floral motifs to wear during the celebration. The activity will continue at 9:00 p.m. with the themed scavenger hunt “Cupid’s Arrows,” a participatory event featuring tests, challenges, and games designed for couples, families, and groups of friends. Later that night, at 10:00 p.m., the gardens will be transformed to host a spectacular display of fire, light, and music, accompanied by the emotional burning of the wishes collected throughout the day. The evening will conclude with music and dancing from 11:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m., creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a unique night in one of the most beautiful historic sites in the Community of Madrid. The Nuevo Baztán City Council invites residents and visitors alike to participate in this special celebration that brings together heritage, culture, local businesses, and entertainment on one of the most magical nights of the year.
