The waterfall is located in an area of great natural beauty, next to the Linares River, in one of the most rugged and unique landscapes of the Sierra de Gúdar. The hike to the waterfall allows you to gradually immerse yourself in a landscape of ravines, pine forests, holm oaks, rocky outcrops, and riverside vegetation, discovering nature in its most authentic state.
Water takes center stage. The river carves its way through the rocks to form the Chorrador waterfall, creating a particularly scenic spot when the flow is abundant. The sound of the water, the shade of the vegetation, and the wild character of the surroundings make this the perfect place to unwind, take a walk, and enjoy nature.
Its name, Chorrador del Arquero, is linked to the history of the place and to Domingo Arquero, a former owner mentioned in medieval documents. This connection between nature and history adds a special charm to the site.
Access to the Chorrador is part of various hiking trails that wind through the Linares River valley. One of the best-known routes starts at Puertomingalvo, following the PR-TE-25 trail, while other routes allow visitors to reach the area from the vicinity of Castelvispal, a town in the municipality of Linares de Mora.
The landscape surrounding the waterfall is characterized by deep valleys, ravines, and lush vegetation, offering visitors an experience of direct contact with the mountains. It is a place especially recommended for those who enjoy hiking, nature photography, and water-filled landscapes.
