These terms and conditions govern the relationship between the user (“member”) and the Association of the Most Beautiful Towns in Spain (“LPMBE”) upon joining the Friends Club. By activating your membership, you accept this document and our Privacy Policy.
The Friends Club is a digital membership program that offers exclusive benefits to its members: visit validation, point accumulation, access to discounts at participating businesses, entry into raffles, rewards, and exclusive content. Membership is personal and non-transferable. Members must be of legal age or have authorization from their legal guardian.
Current prices (monthly, annual, and the AI Guide add-on, if applicable) are displayed on the website and in the app before payment. LPMBE may offer promotional tiers (e.g., founder’s price) subject to the terms specified in each campaign. Payment on the website is processed through Stripe. In the mobile app, payment can be made via in-app purchase (Apple App Store / Google Play), which is also subject to the terms and conditions of the respective store. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless canceled in advance.
Depending on the plan selected, membership may include: a member ID QR code, a record of visits to towns and attractions, discounts at participating businesses, access to geolocated resources, a member newsletter, entry into raffles, and a rewards catalog. LPMBE may modify, expand, or withdraw benefits with reasonable notice on the website or via email, without affecting rights already acquired in sweepstakes or redeemed rewards.
Visits are tracked via QR codes, geolocation, or other technical means. It is prohibited to falsify locations, share credentials, automate validations, or use membership for fraudulent purposes. LPMBE may revoke points, suspend, or cancel membership without a refund in the event of abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms and conditions.
Points are for promotional purposes only and are not legal tender. LPMBE may establish expiration rules, daily limits, or changes to the rewards catalog. Physical rewards may be subject to availability, delivery times, and, where applicable, tax withholdings for which the member is responsible.
Each giveaway has its own terms and conditions published on the platform. Participation implies acceptance of those terms and conditions, which take precedence over any provisions not included in this general document. Winners will be contacted using the information in their account. If they do not respond within the time frame specified in the terms and conditions, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner.
If you subscribe to the AI Guide add-on, you’ll have access to a conversational assistant service with monthly credits and the option to add more. The responses are for informational purposes only and do not replace official information from city governments, businesses, or government agencies. You must not enter sensitive personal information about third parties in the chat. The handling of conversations is described in the Privacy Policy.
You can cancel automatic renewal at any time from your account (website) or from the subscription settings in the App Store or Google Play (app). Your membership remains active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. LPMBE does not require a minimum contract term. Cancellation does not entitle you to a pro-rated refund for the current period, unless required by law.
In distance contracts with consumers, there is a right of withdrawal within 14 calendar days from the date of contract conclusion. By requesting immediate commencement of the digital service (activation of membership upon payment), the member acknowledges that they forfeit this right once the service has begun, in accordance with Article 103 of the TRLGDCU.
LPMBE processes members’ personal data to manage membership, validations, points, communications, and, where applicable, sweepstakes. The primary legal basis is the performance of the contract and, for commercial communications, consent. You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and data portability by contacting legal@lospueblosmasbonitosdeespana.org.
