16th Valderrobres Band Festival

Two groups, different backgrounds, and a shared passion for music. Valderrobres will host a new edition of the Band Festival next Saturday, October 24—a musical event that marks its 16th edition this year.
The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the municipal pavilion and will feature the “Anima Musici” Symphonic Band and the “San Antón” Regional Band from Valderrobres and La Portellada.
The guest ensemble, Anima Musici, is a project born out of friendship and a shared passion for music. Its members—professionals and young talents from twenty towns, mainly in Aragon and also in the Valencian Community—met through conducting courses in Alcalá de la Selva. From those encounters came the desire to make music together, giving rise to an ensemble whose name means “The Soul of the Musician.”
They will share the stage with our regional band “San Antón,” a group with a long history and a significant role in the musical and cultural life of Valderrobres and La Portellada.
The Band Festival once again offers an opportunity to enjoy live music and the coming together of different musical ensembles.
