Tour and Talk on the Old Paper Mills of Valderrobres

Did you know that paper mills were an important part of Valderrobres’ industrial history? This is an opportunity to learn about this past and discover the remnants that still remain.

Next Sunday, November 8, Valderrobres will participate in the 2026 European Heritage Days, organized in the Sénia region under the theme “Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, and Reimagine.”

The event, titled “The Industrial Legacy: The Paper Mills,” will begin with a talk on the history of this industry in our town and will continue with a walk to the former Roda mill.

The event will be led by Manuel Siurana, director of the Valderrobres Heritage Foundation, who will introduce participants to a part of our industrial past and the importance of preserving its memory.
