This summer, Baños de la Encina will once again become a gathering place for lovers of blues, country, and roots rock with the 16th Sweet Cotton Festival, taking place on July 31 and August 1. Having established itself as one of the must-attend events on the Andalusian music calendar, the festival will offer two days of free concerts in a unique historic setting.

The Santo Cristo Park will once again be the heart of the festival, hosting the main performances in an unbeatable setting where the music and charm of one of Spain’s most beautiful towns blend to create an unforgettable experience. In addition, one of the events most applauded by the public is returning: the Saturday noon concerts at the municipal pool, a perfect combination of live music, summer, and fun.

The lineup will feature prominent names from the national music scene. On Friday, Mateo Ortega & The Sugar Daddies and C.T. Powell & Bluedays will take the stage, while on Saturday the lineup continues with Nola Blues and We Want Moore at the municipal pool. The night will culminate with performances by Jodie Cash, The Radions, and A Contra Blues, leading figures in styles ranging from country and rockabilly to the most energetic blues rock.
