On Saturday, 7 November 2026, Comillas (Cantabria), one of Los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España, invites residents and visitors to enjoy a cultural experience with the literary route «Los libros del Puerto Escondido», a guided tour of the settings that inspired and form part of the well-known novels by writer María Oruña.
This activity offers an opportunity to discover Comillas from a different perspective, combining literature, history and heritage on a walk through some of the most emblematic corners of the village.
Led by an official guide of Cantabria, participants will explore the places linked to the literary world of Puerto Escondido, discovering how the streets, buildings and landscapes of Comillas become the settings for the stories of mystery and intrigue created by the author.
The route will allow visitors to get to know the architectural and cultural heritage of this Cantabrian village while forging a connection between the real spaces and the events narrated in the novels.
