Valderrobres will kick off the festive season with one of the most anticipated events of the summer: the presentation of the 2026 Festival Queen, the Queen of the Peña Taurina, the Ladies-in-Waiting, and the Escorts of the 2026 Quinta—an event that marks the symbolic start of the countdown to the Patron Saint Festivities in honor of the Virgin of the Assumption and Saint Roch, which will be held from August 14 to 19.

The evening will begin with a concert by the San Antón Regional Band in Plaza de España. Afterward, the procession will wind through the streets from City Hall to the Festival Grounds, where the official presentation ceremony will take place, accompanied by a performance by the Valhalla Orchestra. The night will conclude with a mobile disco.

An event brimming with emotion, tradition, and symbolism, with which Valderrobres officially kicks off its Patron Saint Festivities. The City Council invites residents and visitors to join the honorees on this special day and enjoy a night that marks the beginning of the summer festival atmosphere.
