OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT | LOS SANTOS FESTIVAL 2026

After carefully assessing the exceptional circumstances currently at hand, the Festival of the Saints Committee has decided, on an exceptional basis, to move the Festival of the Saints to the Valderrobres Municipal Pavilion.

Likewise, the Mass scheduled for the festival will be held at the Santa María la Mayor Parish Church, on the same day and at the same time as originally planned.

Los Santos 2026: Tradition, Community, and Celebration in Valderrobres

Next Sunday, August 9, Valderrobres will celebrate the traditional Pilgrimage to the Los Santos Chapel, one of the most deeply rooted events on the local festival calendar in honor of Saint Abdon and Saint Senen.

The day will bring together residents and visitors in a festive atmosphere with a full program of activities, including a community breakfast, a morra tournament, Mass and a procession, a community lunch, traditional games, fun runs, an afternoon snack, dancing with a brass band, and music until the end of the day.

As is tradition, the program will begin on Saturday, August 1, with the “plega”—a procession through the town’s streets to announce the celebration.

The Valderrobres City Council encourages all residents and visitors to participate in this festive day, enjoying one of our municipality’s most iconic pilgrimages and helping to keep our traditions alive.
