Every two years, Aínsa’s porticoed plaza becomes the ideal setting for the Morisma reenactment, which commemorates the reconquest of Aínsa in the 8th century during the reign of Garci Ximénez. Residents from across the region gather there, becoming, for a few hours, star performers in this unique event that takes place in early September.

9:30 p.m. The plaza gates open exclusively for public access. Admission ticket required
10:00 p.m. The Medieval Market closes
10:30 p.m. Start of the performance of *La Morisma* in the Plaza Mayor, presented by the La Morisma Cultural Association
