The Santa Ana Chapel is one of the oldest in Almagro, as its construction dates back to the 16th century. Initially, it was temporarily occupied by the first Discalced Franciscans who came to Almagro.
It will host the Renaissance transverse flute consort La Troupe, which will present its concert “A Sweet Imagination: The Musical Europe of Charles V,” inviting audiences to discover the deeply interconnected musical Europe of the Renaissance, where the movement of musicians, printed books, and instruments helped forge one of the most artistically splendid periods in history.
