Evento: 03 Nov 2026 — 06 Nov 2026
From 3 to 14 November 2026, Garachico hosts the second edition of Garachico Insólito, a cultural event that invites visitors to discover the most enigmatic side of the Canary Islands through history, traditions, popular beliefs and phenomena that still raise questions.
Organised by the Culture Department of the Garachico Town Council, with the advice of Canarias Mágica, this gathering will bring together researchers, journalists and specialists who will share their knowledge and reflections on anomalous aerial phenomena, historical miracles, legends, disinformation and religious mysteries.
The lectures will take place from 3 to 6 November, at 19:00, at the Casa de Piedra, with free admission. Each day will offer a different perspective on the stories and events that form part of the cultural and intangible heritage of the islands.
In addition, the programme will be complemented by the art exhibition «Ecos del Otro Lado, el último umbral», by the painter Joan Bells, a proposal that invites reflection on death and its different interpretations through art.
To close this second edition, on Saturday 14 November the route «Garachico Misterioso» will take place, a walk through the most surprising corners, stories and legends of the town. The activity will be free of charge, with limited places and prior registration at the municipal Culture Department.
