Patron Saint Festivities of the Virgin of La Cuesta and the Candles Procession

Patron saint festivities in honor of the Virgin of La Cuesta, highlighted by the ancient “Procesión de los Candiles” procession on the eve of the festival (designated a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest). The celebration includes a solemn Mass, the traditional offertory featuring Charra dances and the “paleo,” as well as popular festivities and bullfighting events in the castle’s medieval bullring.
