Evento: 23 Oct 2026 — 25 Oct 2026

On October 23, 24, and 25, Peñíscola will become a major showcase for Castellón’s cuisine with the fifth edition of the Castelló Ruta de Sabor Gastronomic Festival, which is coming to the town for the first time to offer three days dedicated to the flavors, culinary traditions, and locally sourced products from the province.

Organized by the Castellón Provincial Council, through the Provincial Tourism Board, this event aims to highlight the region’s rich culinary heritage, promote the consumption of local products, and introduce the public to the work of producers, chefs, restaurant owners, and professionals in the agri-food sector.

During the festival, residents and visitors alike will be able to enjoy a full program of activities and culinary experiences for all ages. The event will feature tasting booths and direct sales of products from the province, where attendees can discover traditional flavors, artisanal specialties, and offerings that reflect Castellón’s culinary identity.

One of the main attractions will be the live cooking shows and culinary demonstrations, featuring renowned chefs—including those honored with Michelin Stars and Repsol Suns—who will share their knowledge, techniques, and culinary creations with attendees.

In addition, the venue will feature an area dedicated to rice dishes, food trucks, bars, and relaxation areas, offering a variety of ways to enjoy the local cuisine in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere. The program will be rounded out with activities for all ages and tourist and culinary information booths, where visitors can learn about the routes, products, and experiences the province has to offer.

The 5th Castelló Ruta de Sabor Gastronomic Festival will be an opportunity to discover the diversity and quality of Castellón’s products, meet the people behind them up close, and enjoy an experience that combines gastronomy, tradition, tourism, and culture in the incomparable setting of Peñíscola.
