Briones Invites You to Experience the Solar Eclipse Through a Culinary and Observation Event
On August 12, Briones—one of Spain’s Most Beautiful Towns—will host a special evening to enjoy one of the most anticipated astronomical events of the year: the solar eclipse.
The event will take place at 8:00 p.m. at the Espolón of the Casa de Cultura, where residents and visitors will be able to safely view the phenomenon thanks to the certified eclipse glasses provided as part of the activity.
In addition, the experience will be rounded out with a traditional “preñado,” a treat that combines eclipse viewing with one of La Rioja’s most popular culinary specialties, making the day the perfect occasion to share this unique moment in an incomparable historic setting.
Tickets, priced at 3 euros and including viewing glasses and a “preñado,” can be purchased at the Tourist Office while supplies last (180 tickets).
