Conference on Motherhood, Health, Equality, and Prevention – Vilafamés

Vilafamés is hosting the Conference on Motherhood, Health, Equality, and Prevention, an event dedicated to reflecting on, sharing knowledge about, and fostering dialogue regarding motherhood, women’s health, and equality from a holistic perspective.

The event will take place on November 7, 2026, and will feature a variety of cultural, educational, and informational activities addressing key aspects of reproductive health and maternal well-being—from infertility and pregnancy to childbirth, breastfeeding, physical therapy, and maternal mental health. It will also address issues related to health rights, equality, and shared responsibility, incorporating reflection on masculinities in caregiving.

The program will include cultural events linked to women’s experiences, such as an exhibition by Sara Bellés at the Quatre Cantons building and a guided tour of the Vicente Aguilera Cerni Museum of Contemporary Art (MACVAC), featuring a special tour dedicated to rural women.

Organized by the Department of Equality of the Vilafamés City Council, in collaboration with Ruvi Psychology and the MACVAC, the conference aims to contribute to a more informed, egalitarian society that is aware of the importance of caring for physical and emotional health, preventing inequalities, and raising awareness of the diverse realities of motherhood.

All activities are free for registered participants.
