✨🎉 Capileira is getting ready to party in 2026! 🎉✨ From August 7 to 10, 2026, our town will be buzzing more than ever to celebrate the Festivities in Honor of the Virgin of La Cabeza. Four days filled with music, tradition, joy, and unforgettable moments to share with family, friends, and visitors.

💯 There’ll be plenty of open-air dances, a solemn Mass, the procession of our patron saint, a community paella, the Holi festival, the “burial of the fox,” and much more. 7 🕒 10:00 PM | 17th “Tinao Flamenco” Festival in the tent at the Capileira fairgrounds.
🕒 12:00 a.m. | Youth Party with DJ Moy-k, DJ Mousse, and DJ Edu Robles.

Saturday, August
8 🕒 12:00 p.m. | Aquatic Cross Training at the Municipal Pool.
🕒 12:30 PM | Paintball and play area for kids at the multi-sport court.
🕒 5:00 PM | Rentoy contest at Bar La Higuerilla (Casa de la Cultura).
🕒 5:00 PM | Inflatable water toys for teens and children at the Municipal Pool.
🕒 9:30 PM | Vespers Mass, celebrated by our parish priest, Fr. Emilio J. Castillo Zárate.
🕒 11:00 PM | Grand open-air dance with the Epoka Orchestra and the Voltaje Trio.

Sunday, August
9 🕒 9:00 AM | Floral reveille with the “Amigos de la Música” band from Bubión.
🕒 12:00 PM | March concert in the Parish Church Square, performed by “Amigos de la Música” from Bubión.
🕒 1:00 PM | Solemn Mass officiated by Rev. Emilio J. Castillo Zárate in honor of the Virgin of La Cabeza, accompanied by the City of Granada Association of Choirs and Dances.
Presentation of the Perpetual Mayor’s Staff to our Patron Saint.
🕒 8:30 p.m. | Procession of our Patron Saint through the town’s streets, accompanied by the “Amigos de la Música” band from Bubión.
🕒 11:00 PM | Open-air dance with the Atrium Orchestra and the Voltaje Trio.

Monday, August
10 🕒 11:00 AM | Holi Festival and foam party at the sports complex.
🕒 2:00 PM | Community paella at the fairgrounds. Inflatable play area and bouncy castle.
🕒 5:00 PM | Rentoy and Brisca finals at Bar La Higuerilla (Casa de la Cultura).
🕒 6:00 PM | Community snack at the fairgrounds.
🕒 7:30 PM | Parade from the fairgrounds to Plaza del Calvario with BatuKeira.
🕒 8:00 PM | Traditional “burial of the fox” in Plaza del Calvario.
🕒 8:15 PM | End of the BatuKeira parade at the Town Hall entrance.
🕒 8:30 p.m. | Play “5 Corazones con Freno y Marcha Atrás,” performed by students from the municipal theater workshop, in the hall of the Casa de la Cultura.
🕒 11:00 p.m. Street party featuring the ATENEA orchestra and DJ MOY-k.
