The As San Lucas fairs and festivals, one of the oldest traditional fairs in Galicia, dating back to 1156. The 2026 edition celebrates 870 years and runs from October 16 to 25, featuring the horse descent, the great horse livestock fair, concerts, open-air dances, and traditional events. The opening speech will be given by former mayor Luis Rego Valcarce on October 16.
