“Mystical Love” La Ritirata

Santillana del Mar once again becomes the perfect setting for great classical music. As part of the prestigious “Historic Settings” series of the Santander International Festival (FIS), the impressive Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana will host the concert “Amor Místico,” performed by the acclaimed early music ensemble La Ritirata.

Under the direction of cellist Josetxu Obregón, this event offers a unique musical and historical journey. The performance combines the exquisite instrumental artistry of the Baroque era with the emotive voice of mezzo-soprano Beatriz Oleaga and the dramatic presence of renowned actress Manuela Velasco, who will narrate texts inspired by mysticism.
