A Duo: Two Contemporary Art Exhibitions That Switch Museums

A dúo: Two Contemporary Art Exhibitions That Exchange Museums

The MACVAC in Vilafamés and the Fundació Caixa Rural in Vila-real present “A dúo,” an exhibition project that connects both institutions through the exchange of artworks and artistic perspectives. The initiative brings together two complementary exhibitions: “Magna,” in Vila-real, featuring works by Picasso, Warhol, Dalí, and Miró; and “Horizonte,” at the MACVAC in Vilafamés, featuring pieces by Biot, Dalmau, Gimeno-Barón, and Marcelo Díaz.

This collaboration offers visitors the chance to discover different artistic languages and trajectories in contemporary art, while strengthening the cultural ties between the two towns and bringing their collections to new audiences.

The exhibitions open on October 17 and will be on view through January 9, 2027.

Location: MACVAC, Vilafamés, and Fundació Caixa Rural, Vila-real.
MACVAC hours: Monday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
