Hita Medieval Festival

It is held every year on the first Saturday in July. The Hita Medieval Theater Festival, designated a festival of national tourist interest, is the oldest of its kind in Spain. Visitors can enjoy theatrical and carnival performances inspired by the *Book of Good Love* by the Archpriest of Hita, as well as jousts and chivalric tournaments, musical performances, street theater, falconry, a craft market, and the traditional battle between Don Carnal and Doña Cuaresma.
