NATIONAL BRASS BAND FESTIVAL

The National Charanga Festival brings together groups from all over Spain on the first Saturday of May in the salt-mining town. This festival, which draws large crowds, is one of the most renowned in the province and a celebration of music at its finest. Calle de la Red, which runs parallel to the town’s old city wall, is decked out with festival banners and colorful umbrellas.
