Badge Passport: Travel to Collect Spain

Discover how the Club Passport turns validated visits into stamps and collections organized by nature, heritage, and regional or national categories.

The Badge Passport turns your validated visits to Club resources into collectible stamps. Each collection—waterfalls, museums, castles, beaches…—gives you a different reason to travel around Spain again.

What Is the Passport?

Stamps by collections, not another ranking

The passport does not compete with your Club ranks or traveler levels. It is a separate record: collecting categories of destinations visited at the national or regional level.

DYNAMIC

Active Collections

There are dozens of published collections (categorized by region, museums, castles, beaches…). The catalog syncs with the actual inventory: if a pool grows or shrinks, levels can be activated or paused.

NATIONAL · REGIONAL

Areas

Some collections cover all of Spain; others are organized by the Club’s regions (North, Central, East, South). There may also be specific regional scopes, such as beaches in Andalusia.

NO COINS

Honorary

Passport badges do not add to your coin balance or replace redeemable prizes. They show your passion for thoroughly exploring the network.

How It’s Organized

Nature, Heritage, and Other Routes

COLLECTIONS

Nature

Waterfalls, lookouts, lakes, beaches, geological formations, and more. Each collection suggests a type of landscape to explore.

COLLECTIONS

Heritage

Churches, chapels, museums, castles, monasteries, towers… The usual way to collect a stamp here is to scan the QR code for the site.

COLLECTIONS

Other / Mixed

Mixed categories such as themed routes or hot springs. On the website, the group appears as “Other”; in the app, as “Mixed”: it’s the same concept.

Progress

Bronze, silver, gold… and a few unique badges

Bronze: The first tier of the collection
Silver: The next step in exploration
Gold: In-depth collection
Badge: A unique level in special collections

Each level has a threshold based on the number of different resources visited. If your inventory hasn’t yet reached a high threshold, that level may appear unavailable until you have enough resources. In the details, you can see which ones have been visited and which are pending.

Step by Step

How to Earn Your First Badge

1 Open the Passport

In the app: Club → Badge Passport. On the website: My Account → Club → Badge Passport.

2 Choose a collection

Start with one that’s nearby or appeals to you. Check the Bronze threshold and the resources you still need.

3 Travel and validate

Heritage: Scan the QR code for the attraction. Nature and Mixed: Validate your visit to the attraction on-site according to its description.

4 Return to the details

Each resource counts only once. When you reach the threshold, you level up in that collection.

Which visits count Resource from the pool

The passport counts validated visits to tourist or natural attractions in that collection. This is not the same as marking a town by hand or using the explorer map: you must validate the specific attraction.

Heritage with QR: The Quickest Way Today

Scanning the QR code at a monument or museum is the clearest way to stamp heritage collections. If you want to earn your first badge with confidence, start with a nearby heritage collection.

Don’t Confuse

The passport is a separate record

× These are not Club achievements
× They are not traveler ranks or levels
× It is not the explorer map
× It’s not the Discover collections
Achievements and ranks

They tell other stories of progress. The passport only tracks collections of resources visited and stamped.

Maps

The Explorer helps you find places; the Visited Map saves towns. The Passport organizes stamps by category.

Discover

Public online collections (RV routes, themed collections, etc.) are another type of publication—not your membership passport.

Tips for Your First Badge
✓ Start with heritage sites using QR codes
✓ Check out the Bronze threshold
✓ Check pending resources
✓ One resource = one stamp in the pool

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the passport?

In the app: Club → Badge Passport. On the website: My Account → Club → Badge Passport. The details for each collection show which badges have been earned and which are pending.

Do badges earn coins or rewards?

No. They’re honorary: they celebrate your exploration. Coins and redemptions are found in the Wallet and Rewards sections.

How many collections are there?

The number changes with the inventory. Today there are several dozen active collections across nature, heritage, and mixed categories; don’t treat a specific number as a permanent guarantee.

How do I complete a heritage collection?

Travel to the site, scan its Club QR code, and return to the collection details. Each site counts only once.

Is this the same as achievements or ranks?

No. Achievements, ranks, and traveler levels are separate trackers. The passport only organizes stamps by resource collections.

Do I need to be a member?

You need an active membership to validate visits that contribute to the Club. You can view your passport through your account on the website or app.
