The Nature of Each Town
Beyond the historic center, you'll find waterfalls, scenic overlooks, beaches, and attractions associated with each town in the network: information sheets, GPS coordinates, and the "I'm Here" feature on the Club's app.
The character of each town: in Spain’s Most Beautiful Towns, the visit doesn’t end in the historic center. All around, there are waterfalls, lookout points, beaches, lagoons, and scenic spots connected to that town—natural resources of the Club that you can visit using a fact sheet, map, and the “I’m Here” GPS check-in on the app.
Natural resources of the municipality—not just the town square
Each village’s natural resource has a village ID: it belongs to a municipality in the network. Waterfalls, viewpoints, beaches, lagoons, pine forests, mountain lakes, trails… They may be minutes or several kilometers from the town center; that’s why the focus is “around the town,” not “everything is within the town limits.”
Linked to the town
In Rural/Natural Resources, they are grouped by town name. In the app, the default sort order is “By Town.”
GPS and radius
In the app, at the location, you can log your visit by tapping “I’m Here” within the radius. On the website, you’ll see a prompt to validate your visit from your phone.
Directions page
Open /resources/[slug] (or the page in the app): description, photos, map, coordinates, and a link to Maps.
One town, several nature getaways
Actual names from the catalog (may be added or archived over time). These help you visualize the product; always open the live page in the Club.
Albarracín
San Pedro Mill Waterfall, Rodeno Pines, Bezas Lagoon… Nature surrounding the red village.
Vinuesa
Laguna Negra and the viewpoints around Urbión: the village as a base for the park and the cirques.
Cudillero · Frías
Cudillero: Playa del Silencio and the coast. Frías: Tobera Waterfalls, closely linked to the village valley.

There is no public URL like “/nature-club/albarracin.” You access the same product as in the national catalog—Rural/Natural Resources— and stay in that town’s section (or filter by its name).

You can view some public pages /resources/[slug]. The list grouped by town and GPS validation are Club features.
With Club
You can view the town’s landmarks in the catalog, read directions on how to get there, and, in the app, log your visit by earning points according to the current rules.
Real Progress
Each site is validated one by one. There’s no “X out of Y local landmarks” counter or bonus for completing all the RRNNs (that’s another product, for tourist attractions with QR codes).
Clear boundaries
G11 helps you explore all of Spain. Here, you focus on the nature spots in a specific town.
/nature/[town] are editorial pages for the town. They do not list or validate the Club’s GEO RRNNs.
Churches, castles, and QR codes in the historic district are in a different category (G13). The bonus for completing the municipality applies to these, not to the natural sites.
Discover what’s around the town
Decide which one you’re going to (for example, Albarracín, Vinuesa, Cudillero, or Frías).

Filter or search by name and open the natural resource profiles for that municipality.
Use “Directions.” Once you’re at the location, tap “I’m here” in the app.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I see a town’s natural sites?
In the Club: /my-account/club/rural-resources (website) or Rural Resources / Natural Sites in the app, grouped by town. There isn’t a public landing page with just that list.
Is this the same as the “Nature” section on the town’s profile page?
No. That section usually contains editorial content on specific topics. The Club’s RRNN entries are profiles with GPS coordinates and an “I’m Here” feature.
How is it different from the national catalog?
The national catalog (G11) lets you explore all of Spain. This guide shows you how to view only the natural resources linked to a specific town.
Is there a “complete all natural sites” progress track?
No. You validate each site separately. The bonus for completing a municipality applies to tourist resources with QR codes, not natural resources.
Can I check them off from my computer?
No. Validation is done in the app, on-site.
Do all towns have many natural resources?
No. The selection varies. Some have several entries; others have one or none yet. The dynamic catalog is your source.
