XI Provincial Theater Encounter - Black Daisies

The Almagro Municipal Theater hosts the premiere of "Margaritas Negras," the new and moving production by local theater company El Taular Teatro. The play takes us back to a strange summer in 2010 in El Vindel, a small town in the Alcarria region of Cuenca that is fighting for its survival.

Through its nine protagonists, the plot explores the imminent end of traditional ways of life. In their attempt to save the village where they were born, latent conflicts, lost loves, and embers from the past emerge, putting each inhabitant's outlook on life to the test. A profound reflection on the rural world and identity.
