The Route of the Nasrids can be covered comfortably in 5 to 7 days, devoting at least half a day to each village. This way you can enjoy the landscapes, heritage and gastronomy at your leisure. If you have more time, you can extend the trip and explore nearby trails or beaches without rushing, living a complete experience.
Travel tips

Bring camera, village guide and book accommodations in advance, especially in high season or weekends.
How to move
It is recommended to do the route by private car or rental car, which offers flexibility to visit each village and its surroundings. There are also marked routes for bicycles or hiking in some sections. Consult local maps and signage, and be prepared to enjoy the scenery for the entire route.
Respect for the environment
Take care of the natural and patrimonial environment at each stop. Do not leave garbage, respect the flora, fauna and the rules of each area. Many villages are in protected areas. Avoid loud noises, do not enter private areas and respect the local rhythm. Your passage should leave a cultural footprint, not ecological. Be aware.
Schedules and visits
Check the opening hours of museums, churches and cultural centers before your visit. Many are closed at noon and on Mondays. Take advantage of the mornings for guided tours and the afternoons for walks or rest. Local tourist offices will provide you with up-to-date information on how to make the most of each day.
Flavors of the ROUTE
Nasrid cuisine is discovered at every stop: stews, migas, Trevélez ham, stews, cheeses, gofio and almond sweets. Each village offers unique local products.
