Honey from the Alcarria region and artisan cheeses (EN)

Honey from the Alcarria region of Guadalajara is renowned for its high quality and has held a designation of origin since 1992. It is produced using traditional methods at low temperatures to preserve all its natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Bees collect nectar from aromatic plants such as lavender, rosemary, and thyme, producing single-flower and multi-flower honeys with a creamy texture and sweet flavor, featuring different nuances and degrees of intensity.

The artisanal cheeses produced in this region of La Alcarria using fresh sheep’s and goat’s milk are justly renowned for their excellent quality.

Master cheesemakers craft them by hand using traditional recipes and methods. The resulting cheeses, which are given the necessary time to reach their optimal ripeness, develop intense flavors highly prized by lovers of this gastronomic gem.
