Valverde de la Vera is a municipality located in the region of La Vera, declared a Historic Site in 1970, and through which water flows through its cobbled streets thanks to the "regueras", and serve to facilitate their cleaning and to distribute the irrigation water for the orchards.
A village with a popular architecture of three levels, which combines ashlar masonry with wood and brick or adobe, and where it is easy to find beautiful arcades on granite columns, decorated with balls and moldings.
