The nerve center of Trujillo and essential point of the visit. Renaissance square surrounded by arcades, with the equestrian statue of Francisco Pizarro. It houses the Palace of the Conquest, the Palace of the Dukes of San Carlos, Casa de las Cadenas, the church of San Martín and stores.
