Mirador de les Muyeres · Tazones (EN)
POI
From a small vantage point overlooking the steep cobblestone streets of Tazones, among picturesque white houses with colorful doors and windows open to the Bay of Biscay, the Mirador de les Muyeres silently keeps the seafaring memory of the town. There, until the late seventies, women gathered to wait for the return of the fishermen, scanning the horizon with that mixture of hope and concern that always accompanied life at sea.
In this same place, a sculpture of a woman seated on a wooden bench pays homage to the rowers, essential figures of the fishing community.
