1

Caslilla Balcony

From the Plaza del Trigo you can admire the gorge of the river Caslilla. At this point the Antigua Cárcel (1543), today the Tourist Office, and the Casa Consistorial (Town Hall) stand out. In front of them, the Zuloaga viewpoint offers the best panoramic view of Sepúlveda. The tour reveals the neighborhood of San Esteban, walls and towers that protected the riverbank, standing where the disappeared Arco de la Villa once stood.
2

Santiago's viewpoint

This viewpoint, located between the neighborhoods of Santiago and San Esteban (old Jewish and Moorish quarter), offers a unique postcard of Sepúlveda. Next to it stands the Church of Santiago (12th century), which stands out for its Mudejar apse and today houses the Casa del Parque de las Hoces del Duratón. From here depart routes such as the Senda de los Dos Rios, allowing to admire the banks of the Caslilla and the tower of San Esteban.
3

Viewpoint of the Virgen de la Peña

The Mirador de la Virgen de la Peña is the natural balcony par excellence of Sepúlveda. From here you can contemplate the first gorges of the Duratón River, natural wall and refuge of the largest colony of griffon vultures in Europe. Declared world kilometer zero of the River Gorges in 2023, it offers magical views of the Puerta de la Fuerza and unique sunsets in this world biological corridor.
4

Viewpoint of Lope Tablada de Diego

The Mirador de Lope Tablada, on the hill of La Picota, offers the best panoramic view of Sepúlveda and the Duratón gorges. From this point you can see the towers of its five Romanesque churches and the bell "Zángana", famous for its curfew. The view reaches the medieval wall, with the gates of Ecce Homo and Postiguillo, being the ideal place to enjoy sunsets and starry skies.
5

Viewpoint of the Puerta de la Fuerza (Gate of Strength)

The Puerta de la Fuerza is one of the seven entrances to the wall and the main access to the Hoces del Río Duratón Natural Park. A key landmark of the "Path of the two rivers", this viewpoint offers a unique panoramic view of the town over its defensive gorge and the Somosierra hill. It is a place with Celtiberian history, ideal for observing the landscape of Sepúlveda and enjoying its stellar sky.
6

El Salvador lookout point

The viewpoint of the Church of El Salvador (XI century), the oldest Romanesque church in Segovia, offers a 360º view of Sepúlveda. From here you can see the Sistema Central, the churches of the Virgen de la Peña and Saints Justo and Pastor, and the majesty of the Hoces del Duratón. It is an ideal strategic point to admire the Plaza de España and to learn about traditions such as the Fiesta del Diablillo.
