Building built in ashlar masonry and masonry with three naves. It is an amalgam of different periods since the 12th century and has a collection of contemporary art works inside. Guided tours are available by appointment.

Peñas de Gembres and Natura 2000 Network

Sajazarra is at the foot of the Obarenes Mountains, which are within the Natura 2000 Network (European ecological network of biodiversity conservation areas). On a walk through these mountains we can enjoy protected habitats and species such as golden eagles, griffon vultures, eagle owls and Bonelli's eagles, to name just a few. It is an incredible place for hiking and bird watching. And above all this wonderful nature preside the Peñas de Gembres, two rocky peaks that protrude from the southern slope. At their summit there is a lookout carved in the stone.
