Hermitage of San Salvador

To the northwest of Roda, to the west of Cogumella, along a wide track of about two kilometers that leaves the road shortly before reaching Roda, next to the pillar of San Juan Bautista. At first the track coincides with the PR-HU 48, but further on it turns off to the right and climbs up to the hermitage. From the Pilaret de San Juan 1.7 km. Its UTM coordinates are: 31 T 0295784 y 4686901. Until a few years ago this hermitage was preserved in its entirety. It was of Romanesque tradition, but it was difficult to see it because its orientation had been reversed and the apse destroyed. A new entrance door was opened in the place of the missing apse. Currently the church has been completely rebuilt, recovering the original orientation.
