Roda de Isábena and its fascinating naval museum in the heart of Ribagorza. Angel Gayúbar. Roda de Isábena. Few secrets are better kept than the beauty of Roda de Isábena, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain and that, singularly, never appears in any of the specialized lists. Its surprising Romanesque cathedral, its walled streets, the large mansions that bear witness to a fascinating history, the passages and hidden corners of its peculiar urban structure make you fall in love at first sight. But Roda is much more: its magic transcends the obvious and allows the restless walker such surprising experiences as a visit to the delicious museum of the Era de Vicén, one of those mysteries that encloses this former bishop's seat that is the great endeavor of Vicente Ballarín, a son of the people who shares his love for Roda with the one he feels for Tangier, the city where he has spent much of his professional career as a representative of a shipping company. It is no exaggeration to say that this is one of the most unique exhibition spaces in Aragon.
