San Francisco Convent · Puebla de Sanabria (EN)
POI
Located in the populous neighborhood of the Villa from which it takes its name, it is a well-preserved old building. As a whole it is noble, despite its modest appearance and lack of monumentality.
The church takes advantage of the southern side, leaving the conventual rooms to the north, developing around a small cloister surrounded by arcades.
This convent was dedicated to St. Bernard and its residents were Franciscan friars.
It is currently used for educational and social work. The church remains open for worship and serves as a support for the parish.
