Monteagudo de las Vicarías, where stone and history merge in every corner.
In the very heart of the province of Soria, Monteagudo de las Vicarías stands on the plateau of a small hill or muela, surrounded by the remains of what was the wall that embraced most of the houses in its enclosure.
We stroll through the streets of a municipality that does not exceed 200 neighbors, crossing the wall through its pointed arch and crenellated that was its main gateway. Its main square has a voluminous church, dedicated to Nuestra Señora de la Muela and the medieval castle of the Hurtado de Mendoza family, both from the 15th century.
